- Estadio Municipal de Butarque
- Leganes have won 13 of their 17 games at Butarque this season (D1, L3).
- Ponferradina are without a victory in their last six away trips, losing three.
Lega so consistent at Butarque
Leganes have lost three of their last five Segunda starts but we’re backing the Madrilenians to solidify their Play-Off claims at home to Ponferradina on Monday night.
Lega’s faint hopes of a top two finish were all but ended by leaders Espanyol last time out and Asier Garitano’s charges have had a disappointing month or so overall, collecting just five points from a possible 15.
Nonetheless, they remain fourth and a comfortable five points clear of seventh placed Girona – a gap which they should be able to extend here against a Ponferradina side who are without a win in their last four league matches (D3, L1) and their last six away trips (D3, L3).
Leganes did beat Sabadell 2-1 in their last outing at Butarque and Los Pepineros have been extremely consistent on their own turf this season, winning 13 of their 17 fixtures thus far (D1, L3).
At around the 4/5 mark, Lega look a solid bet to rack up another home success this Monday to cement their standing in the top six and we’re also forecasting a 3-1 correct score, as the visitors have managed to score in all but five of their 17 starts on the road.
