Legia to grab the edge in the first leg

Legia beat Bodo/Glimt of Norway over two legs to make it to this point in the competition. The Polish side won the tie 5-2 over the two legs but weren’t able to carry this form over into the Polish Super Cup at the weekend when they lost Rakow on penalties. They are, however, heavy favourites in this tie and will look to make home advantage really count in this game.

Flora reached this point of the competition by beating Hibernians of Malta 5-0 over two legs. The Estonian side now face a tough trip to Poland where they enter as rank outsiders. They are on a run of nine games unbeaten in all competitions however and will try and keep things tight in this tie away from home before the return leg in their native Estonia.

Legia will really be looking to stamp their authority on this two legged tie early and we think Flora could struggle to impose themselves on the game. Our main prediction for this game is Both Teams to Score – No with Flora not expected to build much pressure on a strong Legia defence.

Whilst Legia will want to put this tie to bed before the second leg, we think Flora will still have a fighting chance after this game. Legia should pick up the win but could have to break down the stubborn Flora defence before eventually claiming a 2-0 victory.
