Leicester City vs QPR Predictions

Leicester should be backed to beat QPR at home in the Championship on Saturday. The visitors have struggled at the back this season, and Leicester manager Gary Rowett will be hopeful of getting a result against Julien Stephan’s side.

QPR are six places above Leicester in the table, but both teams have lost more games than they’ve won this season. The hosts sit 22nd with ten wins and 15 defeats, while QPR are 16th with 13 wins and 15 losses.

QPR could not break their losing habit last time, going down 4-0 to Middlesbrough at home in the Championship. They have now lost ten of the 13 games this season in which they’ve shipped the first goal (77%). QPR had just 30.8% possession and were priced as 27/10 outsiders to win the game.

QPR are in poor form away from home, having lost four of their last five Championship matches. They are without a win in three games and have only won one of their last six.

The visitors’ struggles in front of goal are a major concern. QPR have failed to score in four of their last five Championship away games and have now gone three matches without finding the net.

The visitors have looked vulnerable in defence. QPR have failed to keep a clean sheet in seven of their last eight Championship games and have conceded 28 goals away from home this season, an average of 1.56 goals per game from 18 matches.

A 1-0 home win for Leicester looks a decent correct-score option. Four of QPR’s last six Championship games have ended with at least one of the sides failing to score, and that could be the case here too.
