Leicester City vs QPR Predictions
Leicester can punish goal-shy QPR
Leicester should be backed to get a home win over QPR at the King Power Stadium on Saturday. The visitors have lost their last two Championship away games and Gary Rowett’s side can take advantage.
QPR are three places above Leicester in the table, but both teams have lost more games than they’ve won this season. The hosts are 21st with 11 wins and 15 defeats, while QPR are 18th with 13 wins and 16 losses.
QPR lost 1-0 to Birmingham on Wednesday in their last Championship outing and could not break their losing habit. They have now lost 11 of the 14 games this season in which they have shipped the first goal (79%).
QPR are out of form, and backing their opponents during their current run of five defeats in six Championship games would have resulted in a profit of 5.25 units.
QPR are in poor form, having lost five of their last six Championship matches. They have failed to win six of their last seven games.
QPR have been struggling to find the net of late, losing their last four Championship games to nil and failing to score in five of their last seven matches. They have been kept at bay in five of their last six away games.
They have struggled defensively in recent games, failing to keep a clean sheet in eight of their last nine Championship matches. They have conceded 29 goals away from home this season, an average of 1.53 goals per game from 19 trips.
Under 2.5 goals has been a winning bet in Leicester’s last four Championship games and they were 2-0 winners against Bristol City in their last match. QPR have lost four of their last six matches by at least two goals, so a 2-0 home win looks a decent correct-score option.
