Leicester vs Bournemouth Betting Tips

Leicester’s goalless draw against Manchester City on Tuesday saw them lose their position at the top of the Premier League table, but a clean sheet and a point against Man City can’t really be considered a poor result.

However, this did make it two games in a row without a win or a goal for Leicester, who had previously found the back of the net in all 17 Premier League games.

This draw made it two defeats, six draws, and 11 wins in Leicester’s league games this season, a record which puts them level on points with Arsenal and three points ahead of Manchester City.

Bournemouth saw their unbeaten streak come to an end this week as well, with Arsenal cruising to a 2-0 win on Monday to take their position at the summit of the table.

Again, this can’t be considered a poor result for the newly promoted Bournemouth, and they’re still in good form with three wins, three draws, and one defeat in their last seven Premier League games.

This resurgence has seen them put a bit of breathing room between them and the relegation zone, although they are still only three points ahead of 18^th placed Newcastle.

One thing these two sides can’t be accused of is playing negatively. Leicester are the joint highest scorers in the Premier League so far with a 37 goals to their name and Bournemouth always have a go, but are just lacking the quality up front without the injured Callum Wilson.

Six of Leicester’s last nine Premier League games have ended with three or more goals scored, with four of Bournemouth’s last seven going the same way.

This makes odds of 3/4 for Over 2.5 Match Goals look attractive to me, and that’s what I’ll be backing. I think Leicester can get back to winning ways on Saturday as well, so I’m also going to back a 3-1 Leicester win at 14/1.
