Leicester vs Manchester United Betting Tips

Leicester are undoubtedly the surprise package of the season so far. They were rock bottom of the Premier League table at the start of 2015, and as we approach the end of the year we kind them at the summit of the table after they narrowly avoided relegation.

They have only lost once in the league so far this season, with eight wins and four draws giving them a 28 point haul from their first 13 games.

Ten of these points have come from losing positions, which illustrates the fight and determination among their squad, even when they’re trailing behind the opposition.

Leicester have won four of their last five Premier League games, drawing the remaining one and scoring 11 goals on the way.

But their defensive record isn’t the best. They have conceded 20 times in the Premier League, more than anyone else in the top 14 positions.

One thing to note is that they have had a fairly good run of fixtures in the opening portions of the season, and when they did come up against a top quality side in Arsenal they were thrashed 5-2.

Manchester United played out a dismal goalless draw at home to PSV in midweek, putting the pressure on them to win their final Champions League group game away at Wolfsburg.

However, this takes it to nine games unbeaten in all competitions for Louis van Gaal’s side, scoring an average of one goal per game and only conceding twice.

But I think they’ll be gunning for the win on Saturday as they look to claim the top spot in the Premier League, and with injuries to Phil Jones, Michael Carrick, Ander Herrera, Marouane Fellaini, Luke Shaw, and Antonio Valencia I think that Leicester can break through the stern defence.

Jamie Vardy is looking to break the record for consecutive Premier League games scored in on Saturday, and I fancy him to do it. But I highly doubt that Leicester will keep a clean sheet, so odds of 4/5 for Both Teams to Score look good value to me.
