Leicester vs Stoke Predictions
Leicester have been faltering recently, and it’s only thanks to Arsenal’s slip ups that they are still well in with a shout of challenging for the Premier League title.
But they will have to get back to winning ways soon if they want to continue their surprise challenge.
Leicester have only won one of their last seven matches in all competitions, with two defeats and four draws making up the rest of their results.
This is down to a downturn in form of their main attacking players Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy. As a result of this, Leicester have only managed four goals in these seven matches.
They are still level on points with Premier League leaders Arsenal though, but 3rd placed Manchester City have narrowed the gap to just one point behind them.
Stoke have started climbing the table though, and they come into this match in 7th position with just four points between them and 5th placed Manchester United.
This is down to Stoke’s infamous difficulty to beat. They managed a goalless draw against Stoke last weekend and have only lost three of their last 11 games in all competitions.
Six of these 11 games have ended in victory for the Potters, and they come into this tough match on the back of a three match unbeaten run.
Stoke managed to stop Leicester taking maximum points when they met back in September, and that was when Claudio Ranieri’s side were in good form. They’re not anywhere near as good going forward at the moment though, so I think they could struggle to break down the Stoke defence on Saturday.
This makes odds of 3/4 for a Stoke Win or Draw Double Chance look very good value for money, so I’m going for that along with a 1-1 correct score prediction at 6/1.
