Levante Drawing Too Many

Levante sit bottom of La Liga with just seven points from 15 games. They are yet to win a match, but they have had plenty of stalemates, including five from seven games on home soil.

Javier Pereira’s side have drawn three of their last four at Estadi Ciutat de València, including a pair of 0-0 ties against Getafe and Atletico Bilbao.

They have still only scored six goals at home, and have in fact failed to net in three of their last four, so it is difficult to see how this fixture will buck their recent trend.

Osasuna Need A Win

It is not just Levante who are struggling for goals. Osasuna have failed to score in four of their last five matches, while a run of six La Liga games without a win has seen them slip to 10th place after a good start to the season.

They are better on the road than at home, picking up four of their five victories on their travels, but their recent form makes for grim reading.

Neither of these sides are prolific in front of goal, and, despite their form, they both remain reasonably tight at the back, so I predict there will be fewer than three goals in the match, which will end as a 1-1 stalemate.
