Levante vs Villarreal Betting Tips

Villarreal seem like they are the surprise package almost every season but nobody could have seriously expected them to be topping the table after 6 games given all the comings and goings that took place at El Madrigal over the summer.

What has been really impressive about them so far is how they have managed to win different types of games. Their last 3 games have all resulted in 1-0 wins away to Malaga prior to home wins over Atletico Madrid and Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League in midweek. However they are by no means a boring side and only two sides have scored more goals than them so far in La Liga.

With 5 wins on the spin in the league coming into this game and only a late Betis equaliser on the opening day denying them a 100% record, this is a really tough ask for Levante and given the Valencia club are 19th and without a win so far this season it seems unlikely that they are going to be able to come up with the answers.

A 3-0 defeat at Getafe last time out represents a really poor showing even if it did take 80 minutes for the hosts to open the scoring. They’ve only won 1 of their last 9 home matches and Villarreal won 2-0 here in the early stages of last season. The way the visitors have been playing and the results they’ve been getting you have to fancy them to rack up another 3 points on this ground and they look good value to do that at 10/11.

Despite a poor overall record in terms of results, Levante have only failed to score in 1 of their last 8 home games so we can see them scoring but Villarreal winning 2-1 and you can back that to be the case at 15/2.
