      Leyton Orient to Win

      Reason for tip

Leyton Orient have endured a tough start to the season but they have been unfortunate in their last couple of League One games and they can see off Doncaster, who have been unable to build upon a strong start.

      Leyton Orient 2-1

      Reason for tip

Rovers have found the net just twice in their last four games, but there has been 15 goals in Orient’s last three league outings, so go for a 2-1 home win.

      Leyton Orient vs Doncaster Predictions

      • Both teams have scored in each of Leyton Orient’s last five matches.
      • Doncaster have lost three of their last four league games.
      • There have been at least three goals in six of Leyton Orient’s last nine outings

Orient could be about to turn the corner

Leyton Orient suffered the disappointment of losing last season’s League One playoff final to Charlton and look to be suffering a hangover after winning three of their opening 11 games of the new campaign.

However, they have more than held their own against some of the third-tier’s leading lights and there are signs they could begin to turn the corner when they face Doncaster on Saturday.

The Londoners suffered a 3-2 defeat to leaders Stevenage and then went down 4-3 at third-paced Cardiff, but they came out on top of the expected-goals (xG) score which suggests they were unfortunate on both occasions, so their fortunes could be about to change.

Rovers have slipped off the pace

Rovers, meanwhile, have been unable to keep up with the pace they set earlier in the season when they dropped just four points from their opening seven matches.

They ended that run with three consecutive defeats Wigan, AFC Wimbledon and Luton before a 1-1 draw against struggling Burton, so they could be up against it when they face a team on their rise.

The best punting policy appears to be to back a home win and with there being more than two goals in six of Orient’s last nine outings, a 2-1 victory for the O’s should appeal for those looking for a correct-score interest.
