Livingston vs Celtic Predictions
- Livingston have lost eight of their last 11 league games, eight of them by more than one goal
- Celtic have won their last seven games against Livingston, covering a -1 handicap in six of them
- Celtic have won on their last three visits to Tony Macaroni Aena, scoring three goals on each occasion
Hoops can stay top of the table at Tony Macaroni Arena
Celtic should brush aside the challenge of Livingston when they take on the Premiership’s basement club at Toni Macaroni Arena on Saturday.
Brendan Rodgers’ side have beaten Livi three times already this season, including a comfortable 3-0 victory in West Lothian back in September in which they played a man down for over an hour after Joe Hart was sent off.
The home side sit bottom of the table and look bereft of confidence, having won only one of their last 22 league games to almost guarantee they will be playing Championship football next season.
Surface no longer a leveller for Livi
Even their artificial surface, which used to be a decent leveller against the big boys, is no longer such a weapon as Celtic have won their last three trips to the ground and scored three times on each occasion.
This looks like being another tough afternoon for David Martindale’s side, who have lost eight of their last 11 league games.
They will battle but a lack of quality has led them to lose eight of their last 11 by more than one goal and this should be no different.
