Ludogorets vs Olympiacos Predictions

Ludogorets and Olympiacos played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their Champions League qualifier in Greece to leave this tie finely poised ahead of Tuesday’s return fixture in Bulgaria.

Ludogorets were unlucky not to come away with a win in the first meeting after taking a deserved lead early in the second half.  The Razgrad club then managed to hold off an Olympiacos fightback until the closing stages, and we feel they can make the most of home advantage on Tuesday.

The Bulgarian champions are unbeaten after eight games this season across all competitions with six wins and two draws, and at home they have a perfect record with four wins in as many attempts – scoring 11 goals and conceding just once in the process.

Olympiacos have played just one away game this season as they claimed a 1-0 victory at Netci Baku in Azerbaijan but they managed just one win in their final six away games last term.

Ludogorets have the momentum and should take confidence from the first leg draw in Piraeus, and we feel they can pull off an upset by beating Olympiacos.  As Ludogorets have managed three clean sheets in four home games so far we feel a 1-0 home win has a chance in the correct score market.
