Luton can see off key rivals

Luton should be backed to get a home victory over Cardiff in League One on Saturday.

Both Luton and Cardiff were relegated from the Championship last season, with Cardiff bottom of the table and Luton 22nd.

Both sides have also made positive starts in their bid to return to the second tier – Luton have picked up three wins from four matches while Cardiff are unbeaten in four, winning three.

Luton justified their 8/13 odds by dominating possession in a 1-0 win over Wigan on Tuesday, having 66.3% of the ball. George Saville scored the only goal of the game in the ninth minute and the victory made it three wins from three matches in which Luton have been priced odds-on this season.

The Hatters should be backed to get a 2-0 home win over Cardiff on Saturday. No League One team has played more games this season in which at least one team has failed to score than Luton have (three in four matches), while Cardiff have scored just once on their travels.
