Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Luton need to bounce back from losing manager Graeme Jones, but they head into this one having seen both teams score in three of their last four at home, where they have failed to score just once in eight outings. Rotherham meanwhile have seen both teams net in six of their last ten, while they too have failed to net in just one of their last eight

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

Three of Luton’s last six matches at Kenilworth Road have ended all square, including a 1-1 draw with Sunderland. Meanwhile Rotherham have netted exactly once in five of their last ten, including a 1-1 draw against Millwall

Luton vs Rotherham Predictions

  • Both teams have scored in three of Luton’s last five outings
  • Six of Rotherham’s last ten games have seen both teams net
  • Luton are on a run of one win in five matches

How will Hatters react?

It’s been a turbulent week for Luton, who have seen manager Graeme Jones depart to take the reins at Southampton, meaning Mick Harford is back in temporary charge.

Jones’ final game as boss was a 2-0 defeat to Stoke, which came after he’d been given permission to speak to the Saints, something he admits was a distraction ahead of the trip to the bet365 Stadium.

Harford will hoping he can get the squad to refocus, and they will try and fall back on a six game unbeaten run at home, including three wins and three draws, with both teams scoring in the last three.

The Hatters have only won one of their last five games though, so the new manager is aware they have to get back on track quickly to maintain their play-off push.

Rotherham looking to build momentum

Rotherham meanwhile picked up a shock victory in midweek, winning at Bramall Lane for the first time since 1980 as they beat Sheffield United 1-0.

New manager Matt Taylor will hope that signals a turn in form after a run of three successive defeats, but they have only failed to score in one of their last eight outings.

The Millers have lost just two of their last five on the road, alongside two wins and a draw, while both teams have scored in six of their last ten fixtures at all venues.

I predict that both teams will score in this match, with 1-1 my correct score prediction.
