Monchengladbach have won four of their last eight matches on the road, with two defeats and two draws making up the rest of the results. But European away nights are even more difficult, and if you just take into account domestic results they have won three of their last five and only lost once.

Mainz have lost three, won two, and drawn one of their last six home games in the Bundesliga, with losses to Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen, and Borussia Dortmund indicating that they find it difficult against the top sides in the Bundesliga.
