A battle of minnows

Both Malta and Estonia opened their Nations League campaigns with respective 2-0 wins over perennial whipping boys San Marino, so this game looks huge in terms of the promotion race in this three-team group.

Both sides sit outside of the top-#100 ranked nations, yet it is Malta (#169) who are one of the five worst ranked UEFA sides by FIFA, a considerable 59 places below their visitors, Estonia.
