Mancha hoping for huge upset

Minnows Atletico Mancha had never been passed the first round of the Copa del Rey until this season and it would be one of the biggest giant killings in Spanish football history were they to get past Bilbao.

Pedro Bolaños’ side play in the fourth tier and did pull off a massive shock in beating Granada 1-0 in the last round, but their form is patchy, winning just three of their last eight, suffering five defeats in the process.

Bilbao have finally turned the corner

Athletic Bilbao suffered a dreadful run of form between mid-October and mid-December as they failed to win in eight games, and that would have given Mancha hope of a giant killing.

However, Marcelino García Toral’s side have won two of their last three, while their form on the road remains strong, losing just once in ten, drawing seven times.

They have scored in ten of their last fifteen matches, while their last three outings have all contained three or more goals.
