Manchester City vs Crystal Palace Predictions

Manchester City’s goalless draw with Everton on Wednesday was the first time that they have failed to score at the Etihad all season, and it’s also the first clean sheet they have managed to keep there since August.

But thanks to Arsenal’s failure to win this draw hasn’t seen them drop any further behind their Premier League title rivals. They remain in 3rd position, three points behind leaders Arsenal and 2nd placed Leicester.

Manchester City’s form has been a bit sketchy of late, with two wins, two draws, and a loss making up their last five results. At home they are a different beast though. The goalless draw with Everton ended a five match winning streak, and they have won ten of their last 12 outings at home.

Crystal Palace seem to have hit a bit of a stumbling block. Their 1-0 loss to bottom of the table Aston Villa made it just one win from their last five games, although to be fair to them they have only lost twice in their last nine matches.

This puts Alan Pardew’s side in 8th in the Premier League, just four points off a European qualification position.

Away from home they have won three, drawn two, and lost one of their last six matches, and they have found the net in six of the last eight away days.

I can see them finding the net again on Saturday as well. Manchester City have conceded in 13 of their last 14 games at the Etihad and they are still without Elaquim Mangala and Vincent Kompany at the back which will be a big loss for the hosts.

This makes odds of 10/11 for Both Teams to Score look really good value to me, and I’m backing this and a 2-1 Manchester City win at 17/2.
