Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest Predictions

  • Manchester United have scored 18 goals in six home games since Erik ten Hag left.
  • Nottingham Forest have conceded three goals in three of their last four matches.
  • The Tricky Trees have lost their last two away games by a 3-0 scoreline.

Hosts look to bounce back at Old Trafford

Manchester United fell to their first defeat under Ruben Amorim on Wednesday as Arsenal’s set-piece specialty paid off once again, with both of the goals in their 2-0 win coming from corners.

However, the Red Devils looked relatively solid throughout and, while their attacking play was almost non-existent at the Emirates, they should get many more opportunities against a struggling Nottingham Forest side.

Forest falling flat

The Tricky Trees fell to their third defeat in their last four games at the Etihad on Wednesday, and their excellent early season form has given way to a difficult time for Nuno Espirito Santo.

Admittedly, this has been a tough run of fixtures for the visitors, but they have conceded three goals in each of these defeats and face a Red Devils side that are flourishing at Old Trafford.

Red Devils hungry for goals

Manchester United put four past Everton last weekend to make it five wins and one draw in their six home games since Erik ten Hag left, and they have not been shy in finding the net in this period.

Their fourth goal against Everton last time out made it 18 goals in their last six home matches, and they have conceded at least three goals in each of their last three at home.

Two of these have seen them score exactly three goals and Forest have shipped exactly three in three of their last four. They have lost by a 3-0 scoreline in their last two away from home and Manchester United have three clean sheets in their last four home matches, so that looks a solid correct score prediction along with a Manchester United over 2.5 team goals main bet.
