Millwall vs AFC Bournemouth Predictions
- Bournemouth have scored in their last eight matches
- Millwall have only failed to find the back of the net in one of their nine home league fixtures
- The Cherries have won ten of their last thirteen games
Bournemouth To Bounce Back
Bournemouth suffered a shock defeat to Derby on Sunday, letting a 2-1 lead slip at Pride Park, but that was their first away league defeat of the season.
Scott Parker’s side have had nine matches on the road, with only Hull and Peterborough managing to prevent their lethal attack from scoring.
Indeed, the Cherries’ away record is the best in the Championship and despite losing to Wayne Rooney’s outfit over the weekend, they will surely show why they are so strongly backed to win promotion this season by returning to form with a victory.
Lions Not Scoring Enough
They face a Millwall side who have drawn their last two games 1-1, but at The Den this season they have scored in eight of their nine matches.
The problem for Gary Rowett’s side is they are not killing enough games off, only netting more than once in two home fixtures, against Stoke and Blackpool.
I predict that they will break down a frugal Bournemouth defence, who themselves have only conceded four times away from home this season, but they look unlikely to have the firepower to outscore the Cherries.
Therefore, I am predicting both teams will score, but it will end in a 2-1 win for the visitors.
