      Both Teams To Score

      Reason for tip

Mirandes have scored in all bar two of their 16 home league games this season, while ten of their last 17 Segunda outings have seen both teams net. Eibar meanwhile have conceded in nine of their 15 away fixtures, while only failing to hit the back of the net in three of the last ten

      Eibar 2-1

      Reason for tip

Eibar have won four successive games, scoring exactly twice in a couple of those outings. Mirandes have netted exactly once in two of their last four at home, but conceded at least twice in three of their last eight Segunda outings, including a 2-1 loss at Las Palmas

      Mirandes vs Eibar Predictions

      • Mirandes have only failed to score in two of their 16 home league games
      • Eibar have netted in seven of their last nine matches on the road
      • Both teams have scored in ten of Mirandes’ last 17 league fixtures

      Can Mirandes keep going?

After briefly looking like they might be dragged into a relegation battle, back-to-back wins, including a 4-3 victory over Sporting Gijon last time out, have pulled Mirandes into mid-table.

That result means ten of their last 17 games in the  Segunda have seen both teams score, as well six of their last ten outings on home soil.

Joseba Etxeberria’s side have been particularly good going forward, finding the back of the net in all bar two of their 16 home Segunda outings, but equally have a -2 goal difference after conceding 38 times at all venues.

      Eibar’s defence impressive

Eibar have actually tightened up their back line of late, and head into this game on the back four successive wins, all accompanied by a clean sheet.

That run will not go on forever though, and it is worth considering that Gaizka Garitano’s side have conceded more times on the road, 15, than they have scored, 14.

Their back line has in fact been breached in nine of their 15 fixtures on their travels, yet despite that, they were top of the table following match day 31.

I predict that both teams will score in this game, with Eibar taking a 2-1 victory as my correct score prediction.
