Manchester United vs Brighton Predictions

- Manchester United have conceded in each of their last three matches
- Solly March has scored three goals in his last four matches
Red Devils looking to recover from Emirates setback
Manchester United endured a suckerpunch 3-1 loss away to Arsenal before the international break and they could be frustrated further by highflyers Brighton on Saturday.
Erik ten Hag’s side began the season with two wins from their first three league games but there was not much optimism around the side heading into their clash at the Emirates Stadium at the start of the month.
That, however, changed briefly when Marcus Rashford put his side 1-0 up against Arsenal only for the hosts to equalise a minute later.
The rest of the game was pretty cagey and United thought they had snatched a late winner through Alejandro Garnacho, only for it to be chalked off for offside by VAR.
To make matters worse, Arsenal went on to score in the 96th and 101st minutes to make it 3-1 – a scoreline which was probably a harsh reflection on the match.
The result nonetheless leaves United in the mid-table positions and there are question marks around the team in all areas of the pitch with Anthony Martial ineffective against Arsenal, Casemiro having made a poor start to the season and the defence leaking goals once again.
Highflying Seagulls could be tough to stop
It is hard to make a strong case for Manchester United right now and they should be opposed against Brighton, who beat them at Old Trafford on the opening weekend last season.
The Seagulls have flourished in the opening weeks of this campaign, easing to 4-1 wins over Luton and Wolves before slipping to a 3-1 loss against West Ham.
Brighton did not, however, allow that defeat to get to them and bounced back before the international break with a 3-1 win over Newcastle.
That left them in the top six heading into this weekend and they are worth selecting to win in the draw-no-bet market, where stakes are returned in the event of a draw.
March can make his mark
No side had scored more Premier League goals than Brighton (12) heading into the international break and they can also contribute to a high-scoring game with a 2-1 correct score prediction the way to go.
The availability of Evan Ferguson, who netted a hat-trick against Newcastle, is uncertain heading into this match but Solly March has also been on fire.
March has bagged three goals in four Premier League matches this term and can cause United problems down the wing, so back him to score at any time at Old Trafford.
