      Juventus to Win

      Reason for tip

Juventus are six places above Monaco and have a slim chance of securing a top-eight finish. The hosts have only won one of their last five games and are struggling for consistency, so the Italian giants can secure their third win on the bounce.

      Juventus 1-0

      Reason for tip

Monaco have scored in five consecutive home games, but they have not scored more than one goal in front of their own fans since October 5. Juventus have won three of their last four away matches without conceding a goal and they should be able to come through a close battle on Wednesday.

      Monaco vs Juventus Predictions

      • Monaco have won two of their seven Champions League games so far
      • The French club have won just one of their last five in all competitions
      • Juventus have lost only one of their last 10 matches in all competitions

Old Lady to prevail on the road

Serie A giants Juventus still have to work to do to secure a seeded spot in the knockout phase of the Champions League and they travel to Monaco on Wednesday night.

The Old Lady are 15th in the League Phase table and have already confirmed their spot in the round of 16 or knockout phase play-offs. Monaco are six places below their opponents and they have work to do to remain in the top 24.

Sebastien Pocognoli’s troops have struggled with consistency since November and they have not won back-to-back games since the end of October.

In their 15 games in all competitions since the start of November, they have lost eight times, and Juventus should be able to make them pay for their erratic form.

Monaco have lost four of their last six at home and they have not scored more than one goal at home since a 2-2 draw with Nice on October 5.

Juve have won three of their last four away from home, keeping a clean sheet in each of those ties and their defensive prowess should be once again on show at Stade Louis II.
