Morocco vs Guinea Bissau Predictions
- Morocco are unbeaten in their last 17 internationals, winning 14.
- Ten of those victories have been via at least a two goal margin.
- The Atlas Lions are ranking 33 by FIFA, 72 places ahead of the visitors.
Morocco to take control of Group I
Morocco take on Guinea-Bissau in this Wednesday’s 2022 World Cup Qualifiers and The Atlas Lions are backed to take control of Group I with a comfortable success in Rabat.
The Moroccans are amongst the strongest nations on the continent at present as confirmed by their 2020 African Nations Championship triumph, and they come into this midweek tie unbeaten in their last 17 internationals.
Vahid Halilodzic’s charges have won 14 of those fixtures, and when they win, they usually win well. Morocco have clinched ten of those victories via at least a two goal margin, including their 2-0 Group I opener against Sudan here last month.
Guinea-Bissau have made a pleasing start to the qualifying section with a 4-2 win over Sudan and 1-1 draw with Guinea, but they need to claim a point from this contest to maintain top spot. Any form of result in Rabat looks unlikely though, with their pair of African Cup of Nations Qualifying defeats to Senegal at the end of last year highlighting their limitations.
All in all, we expect Morocco to maintain their fine unbeaten streak this Wednesday and The Atlas Lions can take a significant step towards Qatar with a 2-0 victory in the capital.
