Bodo Glimt Double Chance (Win or Draw)

Reason for tip

Bodo/Glimt won at Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid in last season’s Champions League and having beaten Borussia Dortmund 1-0 seven days ago, they may be eyeing another scalp in Naples. Napoli need to bounce back after a 1-0 defeat to Venezia but with that making it five losses in eight games, it is hard to trust they will.

Bodo Glimt 2-1

Reason for tip

Bodo have it in them to pull off a shock in Naples but both teams finding the net in 14 of their last 17 European away games suggests they may have to do so by outscoring their hosts. Napoli were on target in last week’s defeat to Villarreal and look set to be edged out again.

Napoli vs Bodo Glimt Predictions

  • Napoli have lost five of their last eight games
  • Bodo/Glimt were defeated in only four of their 12 matches in the 2026-27 Champions League
  • Both teams to score has been a winning bet in 14 of 17 European away games

Allegri’s Gli Azzurri in a real slump

Max Allegri was once one of Europe’s top managers but the signs were there at AC Milan last season that the Italian had lost his magic touch, yet Napoli still decided to appoint him over the summer.

They will be regretting that decision pretty soon if results do not improve soon as Saturday’s shock Serie A loss to promoted Venezia made it five defeats in eight games for the Naples club.

Allegri needs to get things back on track as soon as possible but they were poor in last week’s 3-1 defeat at Villarreal and their next Champions League clash may not go much better.

Back Bodo to add another scalp to their collection

Napoli host Bodo/Glimt on Tuesday and the Norwegians’ run to last season’s round of 16 proved that they can mix it with the best. A lot of their best work is done on home soil but they still won at Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid last term, so they can do it on the road, too.

Bodo have already come some way to proving they are not to be one-season wonders either, beating Bundesliga title hopefuls 1-0 last week.

That spells trouble for an out-of-sorts Napoli, who are too short a price after winning just two of their last eight games.
