Nashville SC posted their third consecutive home victory against Toronto in midweek and Gary Smith’s side are backed to beat Canadian opposition again in the shape of Montreal Impact at Nissan Stadium this Sunday.

Nashville had to rely on a late double salvo from Luke Haakenson in the early hours of Thursday morning to complete a come from behind 3-2 victory against the side sitting second bottom in the Eastern Conference, but the manner of that success should only service to further build their momentum going into this Sunday.

Gary Smith’s men are now unbeaten in six in Tennessee this season (W3, D3) and are hard to oppose here with visitors Montreal defeated in three of their last six outings (W2, D1).

Impact were successful when last on their travels two starts ago, though their 0-1 triumph over a dismal Chicago Fire outfit does little to enhance their claims for this difficult trip south.
