Norrby IF vs GAIS Predictions

Hosts have to be fancied after four straight wins

Norrby made it four league victories on the bounce with a 2-1 success over AFC Eskilstuna here last weekend and Mak Lind’s men are taken to seal another three points this Saturday against GAIS.

The hosts made a shaky start to the campaign with two defeats in three, however, they’re now setting the early pace alongside joint leaders Varnamo and look worthy favourites here with GAIS on a losing run of three.

In contrast to Norrby, the Gothenburg outfit began their season in fine style after amassing ten points from their first four outings, but they’ve since dropped into mid table following losses against Varnamo (1-0), Trelleborg (2-3) and Helsingborg (0-1) last time out.

As a result, the logical money can only be with the hosts for this one at a shade of odds-on and it’s worth noting that Norrby also ran out resounding 3-0 winners in last season’s corresponding fixture.

It might not be quite so emphatic this time around with GAIS’ recent losses all suffered by a one goal margin, while three of Norrby’s last four wins have also been via the odd goal.

Norrby can justify favouritism though to potentially go clear at the top and we’re also predicting a 2-1 score-line.
