Tip Reasoning

  • Manchester United are unbeaten since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s exit (W3, D2).
  • Norwich have lost four of their seven home games in the league.
  • The Canaries have failed to score in three of their last five games at Carrow Road in all competitions.

Canaries test next for United

Ralf Rangnick’s tenure as Manchester United boss has started in positive fashion with a win over Crystal Palace and a draw with Young Boys in the Champions League.

United had the luxury of making changes in Europe in midweek having already qualified as group winners, meaning fatigue won’t be a factor when they head to Norwich in the Premier League for the late kick off on Saturday.

The Canaries have improved since Dean Smith replaced Daniel Farke and they are now just three points adrift of safety having looked destined for an immediate return to the Championship just a few weeks ago.

However, Norwich went down 3-0 at Tottenham in their last game and it will be a big ask for them to get any kind of result on Saturday.

United can continue revival at Carrow Road

United are unbeaten since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s exit with three wins and two draws in their last five games. Admittedly, their performances haven’t been particularly impressive but they are still picking up results and should have too much quality for their hosts this weekend.

A straightforward away win isn’t exactly an attractive price here but stands out as the best option for our main bet regardless. Norwich have lost four of their seven home games in the league and have only scored five goals in those matches, but United have struggled for clean sheets on the road too.

It could pay to be bolder with the correct score bet and there is some appeal in a 2-0 win for the visitors. Norwich have failed to score in three of their last five home games in all competitions and United managed to keep a clean sheet against Palace last time out, while the Old Trafford club are averaging 1.6 goals per-game on their travels.
