      Nottingham Forest to Win

      Reason for tip

Forest cruised to a 3-0 victory in the first leg against their Turkish opponents and they were minutes away from securing a draw against Liverpool. Fenerbahce won only won of their away games in the League Phase of the Europa League and should fall short once again.

      Nottingham Forest 2-1

      Reason for tip

Fenerbache have to throw everything at Forest in this second leg and they have scored in seven of their nine games in the competition so far. Forest have only lost one of their last five matches at home and they scored two or more in each of their four games at the City Ground in the League Phase.

      Nottingham Forest vs Fenerbahce Predictions

      • Nottingham Forest have only lost one of their last five matches at home in all competitions
      • Fenerbahce only won one of their four away games in the League Phase of the competition
      • The Turkish giants have netted in seven of their nine games in the competition

Tricky Trees to stand tall in second leg

Vitor Pereira was handed the dream start to his Nottingham Forest tenure in last week’s first leg against Fenerbahce and there’s no signs of the Turkish outfit getting back into this tie.

Fenerbahce produced a dismal display on home soil to lose 3-0 in the first leg and they were lucky to only concede three goals in Pereira’s first game in charge of the Tricky Trees.

The former Wolves boss nearly masterminded a draw against reigning champions Liverpool in his first league game on Sunday, and there’s plenty to build on for this second leg.

Forest will expect to have more joy in front of goal and they scored 15 in eight League Phase games before adding three to their tally in Turkey. They netted two or more goals in each of their four home ties, while Fenerbahce have scored in seven of their nine games in the competitions.

Both teams should therefore be able to find the back of the net, but it is Forest who should have enough to record another win. They outclassed a lacklustre Fenerbache in the first leg, and Pereira will have learned plenty about his team and found ways to improve them after a week of training.
