Nottingham Forest vs Watford Betting Tips

Nottingham Forest had a pretty dismal start to the season, and despite their current good form it has hampered their attempts to push for promotion from the Championship.

They currently sit in 11^th position in the Championship, but their recent run is something that would have them much further up the table.

Nottingham Forest come into this game having not lost since November, with six wins and seven draws making up their results in all competitions since then.

The FA Cup 3^rd Round saw Nottingham Forest knock out fellow Championship side QPR, but now they find themselves coming up against a Watford side who have impressed in their first season back in the top flight.

Watford finished in 2^nd position in the Championship last season, 12 positions above Nottingham Forest. Now they find themselves in 10^th place in the Premier League with a promising return of 32 points from 23 games.

They did have a spell of patchy form recently though, but a win against Newcastle last weekend saw Odion Ighalo get back on the scoresheet and breathed life back into a Watford team who had lost four of their last five.

It was Newcastle who they knocked out in the FA Cup 3^rd Round as well, and now they have got back to winning ways I’m expecting them to show some class on Saturday.

Watford won in Nottingham ten months ago when they met in the second flight, with a 3-1 win there helping them in a tight promotion race. This win made it two wins, two draws, and one defeat against Nottingham Forest in their last five meetings.

Nottingham Forest may be in good form, but they aren’t that adept at finishing sides off and getting the win. Add to this Watford’s excellent lethal strike force and overall better quality and I think odds of 1.800 for a Watford 0.0 Asian Handicap Win are excellent value for money.
