Nottingham Forest vs Wolves Betting Tips & Predictions

Two of the giants of Midlands football meet here but it’s not a game that really wets the appetite. Neither side have been enjoying a great time of over the past month or so and disappointing bottom half finishes are as good as either team look like getting to show for their efforts this season. Forest did at least play better last weekend winning 3-1 at Fulham with Henri Lansbury scoring twice but they’d gone 8 games without a win prior to that and have lost 6 of their last 8 matches at the City Ground.

Wolves meanwhile are struggling without some key players lost to serious injuries and they have got nowhere close to emulating last season’s 7th place finish. They’ve won just 1 of their last 8 games with 5 draws in that period. Lacking some of their creative spark they have perhaps been forced to settle for a more disciplined approach and it has largely worked in nullifying their opponents but they have lost their last two games on the road against Hull and Leeds.

This is one of those games where you couldn’t confidently back either side to pick up the win. Wolves’ tendency to draw of late coupled with the fact Forest have just 1 home win since mid-January and that was a narrow 1-0 success suggests there will be little in this game and a draw is perhaps the most likely outcome. Forest drew 1-1 against Blackburn in their last home game and Wolves have picked up 1-1 draws at QPR and Burnley since the turn of the year and perhaps backing this to finish in a 1-1 draw at 11/2 is the best approach in the correct score market.
