While there is a league separating these sides, the gulf in class is not as large as it appears on the face of it given each sides’ respective form. I am predicting a tough game for both sides here as Notts County are one of just two sides unbeaten across their last five National League games on their quest for promotion. Meanwhile, their EFL League Two rivals, Rochdale, are unbeaten in six league matches, though they do occupy a bottom-half placing and four of those games ended in stalemates!

Whoever eventually wins this game will have a tough test against either Plymouth or Sheffield Wednesday in the next round and that fact could inspires the National League hosts as the chance to claim such a scalp will surely entice the players.
