Osasuna vs Las Palmas Predictions

  • Las Palmas have won five of their last six matches in all competitions
  • Osasuna have collected only four points from six home games in La Liga
  • Both teams have scored in four of Las Palmas’s last six fixtures

Las Palmas looking to build on Atleti scalp

Las Palmas pulled off the shock of the weekend in La Liga last Friday, prevailing 2-1 at home to Atletico Madrid, and they are a worthwhile bet to follow up with victory against Osasuna.

Fresh from wins over Almeria and Manacor in the league and Copa del Rey respectively, Las Palmas scored twice in the second half against Atleti and held on for victory despite an 83rd-minute consolation from Alvaro Morata.

It was the Gran Canaria club’s fifth win in their last six games and they are nestled in the mid-table positions in La Liga.

Osasuna’s home record leaves plenty to be desired

This weekend’s opponents Osasuna are only four points worse off but confidence will be low in their camp after three defeats in their last four games.

Last Saturday the Pamplona club thought they were on course to beat highflyers Girona, having led 2-1 before conceding in the 71st, 80th and 90th minutes to lose 4-2.

Jagoba Arrasate’s men have been too weak at the back, having conceded 20 goals in 12 matches this term, while their home form has also been questionable.

They have lost four of their six games at El Sadar this term and should be opposed against Las Palmas, who are worth a bet in the draw-no-bet market.
