With their 2-1 victory over Brazil last time out, France took a huge step towards top spot in Group F. They had struggled in their opener against Jamaica, but that victory has given them a boost in their bid to lift the World Cup.

Thanks to that slip against Jamaica, France still haven’t secured a place in the next round. However, they’re heavy favourites to wrap up top spot with a victory, as they face an already eliminated Panama side.

The underdogs have already suffered two defeats to nil in Australia, starting the tournament with a 4-0 hammering to Brazil before a 1-0 defeat to Jamaica. That’s made it four straight defeats without a goal for Panama, who lost 7-0 to Spain and 5-0 to Japan ahead of the tournament.

With France still looking to secure their last 16 place they won’t take any chances and it’s hard to see them struggling to dispatch this Panama outfit.
