Partizan vs AZ Betting Tips

      Tip Reasoning

It’s been a solid but unspectacular season for Partizan Belgrade so far in 2015-16. They’re currently sitting in fourth place in the Serbian Super Liga and were denied a place in the Champions League group stages by an away goal scored by BATE.

They’ve been a feature of European football in recent seasons and are a side not to be under-estimated. They are capable of scoring goals and have a formidable record on their home soil.

They welcome AZ Alkmaar on Thursday night. Last season’s top four finisher in the Dutch Eredivisie side has endured an up and down start to this campaign looking a little porous at the back and struggling to string together wins.

A strong performance in the previous round against Romanian team Astra was enough to see them through to this stage and they picked up their first league win of the game with a 3-1 decision against newly promoted De Graafschap last weekend.

      Three Reasons for Betting Tips

      1. AZ’s defensive frailty

They lost players during the summer and AZ just haven’t been able to figure it out in any meaningful way since. Goals just look too easy to concede.

      2. Partizan’s home performances

Belgrade is a tough place to go and play. They controlled the game against BATE and were unlucky to eventually be eliminated from that tie on away goals.

      3. Open game

We think this will be an open game and that’ll suit Partizan in this instance. They may not finish above AZ in the final group table, but we’ll take them in this tie.
