A new era for the ‘Posh’

Fergie time is over for Peterborough United as Darren Ferguson left his post. Matthew Etherington took charge as they were, as expected, defeated away to league leaders Fulham during the week. That loss means that the hosts are now without a Championship win in any of their last 10 matches, in which they’ve lost eight of those. The ‘Posh’ sits eight points adrift of safety and despite having a game in hand on their relegation rivals, it’s worrying times for them.

Hull City’s new owner Acun Ilıcalı made a bizarre comparison when he said he wants Hull City to be as ruthless as NBA star Stephen Curry, but the ‘Tigers’ will be hoping they can me this one a three-pointer by securing their first win since January. They should feel confident of doing so given the peril that Peterborough United find themselves in and they’ve not suffered defeat across the previous four head-to-heads with their opponents away from home.

We’re expecting there to be at least a few goals scored here as both sides go in search of a much-needed win.
