In-form Union can outgun Charlotte

Philadelphia Union lead the way in the Eastern Conference and they should be able to continue their fine form by seeing off Charlotte on Saturday.

The visitors are involved in the battle for the postseason spots and they currently occupy seventh place, but they arrive in the City of Brotherly Love in the midst of a rough patch with six defeats in their last eight games.

Back Philly to win and concede

Philly are priced at 5/6 to win this game and they look good value at the current prices, but there is an opportunity to be a little bolder here and take a chance on a home win with goals at both ends.

Union may be in fine form but they have looked vulnerable at the back. Bradley Carnell’s side have conceded in five successive home games across all competitions and have just two clean sheets in their last nine overall. Meanwhile, Charlotte have scored in each of their last seven MLS games despite losing five of those and may be able to strike in defeat at Subaru Park.
