Can Plymouth kick on?

It has been a strong enough start to the season for Steven Schumacher’s Plymouth, but he will be disappointed that they have still not picked up back-to-back wins when factoring in all competitions.

On top of that, Argyle haven’t failed to score in 11 clashes with Bolton, a run that dates back to a 3-0 loss at Burnden Park back in 1977.

Bolton hoping to bounce back

Bolton are two points worse off than Plymouth after five games, and they come into this clash having lost to Aston Villa in the cup in mid-week and Sheffield Wednesday in their last league outing.
