Plymouth Argyle vs Lincoln City Predictions

Lincoln have a clear edge in the league table and they are the bet away at Plymouth on Saturday.

They are second in the league, 13 places and 21 points above Plymouth. The hosts sit 15th with 11 wins and 14 defeats, while Lincoln have won 17, drawn seven and lost five.

Lincoln maintained their winning run with a 1-0 victory away at Wigan last weekend, having been priced at 23/20 to win the game.

Lincoln are in excellent form, having won seven of their last nine League One matches. They have gone 12 games without tasting defeat and have lost just one of their last seven meetings with Plymouth.

The visitors have the edge up front. Lincoln have scored in 14 games in a row, finding the net at least twice in 16 of their 29 League One games this season. In contrast, Plymouth have struggled to score goals at home, with just 16 goals in 15 games.

Lincoln have looked vulnerable in defence. Plymouth have conceded 20 goals at home this season in League One – an average of 1.33 goals per game from 15 matches.

Five of Plymouth’s last seven League One matches have produced under 2.5 goals and a 2-0 win for Lincoln away looks a decent correct-score bet.
