Both teams can strike at Deepdale

Both teams to score is the best bet for Saturday’s Championship clash between Preston and Ipswich at Deepdale. Preston have found the net in 11 of their last 12 league games, while Ipswich have scored in all three outings in all competitions this season.

Preston finished 20th in the Championship last season, while Ipswich were relegated from the Premier League.

Preston’s 2-1 win over Leicester at home was a hard-fought victory. Alfie Devine opened the scoring in the seventh minute and Milutin Osmajic also found the net for Preston, who will have been pleased with the three points after being priced at 12/5 to win the game.

Both teams have scored in 13 of Preston’s last 16 Championship matches and Ipswich’s first two matches on the league campaign have seen goals at both ends.

Preston have failed to keep a clean sheet in 17 of their last 20 Championship games and Ipswich have gone 21 league games without keeping a clean sheet, so both teams to score looks the best bet.

It could be hard to separate these two sides, with the 1-1 draw looking a decent correct-score bet. Both teams have scored in Ipswich’s last four competitive matches.
