- Preston have picked up just one point from their last four Championship games.
- The Lilywhites have won just two and lost seven of their last 11 starts.
- Luton have won three of their last five matches.
- The Hatters ran out easy 3-0 winners when the sides met at Kenilworth Road in December.
Hatters to best Lilywhites again
Luton gave Preston a 3-0 beating at Kenilworth Road in December’s reverse fixture and the Hatters are backed to complete a league double over the Lilywhites at Deepdale this weekend.
After finishing 19th last term and only securing their safety in the final rounds of the campaign, Luton have made excellent progress this season under Nathan Jones. They’re just four points shy of the tally they achieved last term with ten games still to play and three wins from their last five have kept hopes of a top half finish alive.
The Hatters have consistently earned victories against teams below them this season and look well priced to turn over Preston this weekend based on their efforts, the last meeting between the sides and the hosts’ dismal form.
Preston have picked up just one point from their last four games after a 2-0 defeat at Middlesbrough in midweek and Alex Neil’s men have now lost seven of their last 11 league starts.
With nine defeats from 18 also suffered at Deepdale this term, Luton are undoubtedly too big at around 9/4 to land the spoils in this clash and we’re happy to get behind the visitors at those odds, while we’re also forecasting a 1-2 correct score.
