Fast start would suit PSG

League leaders PSG are back in action at the Parc des Princes but they will have to make do with out key stars Kylian Mbappe and Neymar who are both out through injury. However, they have a plethora of talent available to them and their remarkable home record of 32 league matches at home speaks for itself. They’ve netted inside the opening 15 minutes in all of their last three home wins and they’ll want a fast start here.

The visitors are conceding an average of two goals per game away from home and they have lost six of their ten road trips in Ligue 1 this campaign. They have hit something of a purple patch, having won six of their last seven outings across all competitions but it seems unrealistic that they will go to this venue and leave with three points. Although, given they have netted in all but two of their away games, they can possibly contribute to the count.

Weakened hosts will still manage to get the job done.

The hosts will have some big absentees but there’s no reason they cannot go out here and claim a big victory. It’s possible the visitors can get on the scoresheet but we expect a home win with three or more goals being produced in total.
