Goals look to be on offer once again

Goals were anything but hard to come by in PSG’s last outing at the Parc des Princes as they absolutely hammered Maccabi Haifa 7-2 in the Champions League on Tuesday night. Christophe Galtier’s side are one of just two clubs in the top five European Leagues yet to suffer a defeat across all competitions and they’ll certainly be expecting to add another three points to their tally by beating a Troyes side that they haven’t lost to in 14 top-flight home meetings.

Troyes got off to a bad start when they lost their opening three matches of the Ligue 1 campaign but have followed that up by securing points in seven of their following nine matches. The visitors have also made a healthy habit of managing to hit the back of the net on their travels having slotted in five of their six away games – only failing to do so away to Lens.

Hosts to edge a victory but fail to keep a clean sheet

It doesn’t take an expert to realise that PSG should be claiming a victory in this encounter. However, we think that Troyes could be good for a goal here given how frequently they have hit the target of late. As such, we’ll have a play on a PSG win and both teams to score.
