Bayern Munich and Both Teams To Score

      Reason for tip

Bayern Munich are one of only two teams that have secured their spot in the round of 16 in the Champions League and they should outclass PSV Eindhoven. The Dutch side have scored 15 goals in the League Phase and can get on the scoresheet, but they face a Bayern side that have won six of their seven matches.

      Bayern Munich 3-1

      Reason for tip

Bayern have scored 20 goals in seven matches and should have too much class for their hosts. The Bavarians have scored three or more goals in their last six away games and they face a PSV side that have only kept one clean sheet in their last five outings.

      PSV vs Bayern Munich Predictions

      • PSV Eindhoven have won just two of their seven League Phase matches
      • Bayern Munich have won six of their seven games in Europe
      • The Bavarians have scored 25 goals in their last away matches

Bavarians to dominate proceedings in Eindhoven

Bayern Munich will look to end their League Phase campaign in style when they travel to the Netherlands to face PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday evening.

Vincent Kompany’s men have won six of their first seven games and the German giants and Arsenal are the two teams that have guaranteed their place in the last-16.

PSV can still book their spot in the knockout phase playoffs, but they need to get a result and hope others go their way this week. PSV have eight points to their name from seven matches and the gulf in class should be pretty evident.

Peter Bosz’s side were thumped 3-0 by Newcastle United in their last European outing, while they followed it up with a 2-2 draw against NAC Breda.

In their 15 home games in all competitions, PSV have conceded 25 goals and that record should only get worse with Bayern in town.

The German giants have netted 25 times in just seven away games and they have already scored eight in three European fixtures this season away from home.

PSV will go down swinging as they try to secure their spot in the top 24, but Bayern have only lost to Arsenal and should end their European League Phase campaign on a high note.
