QPR vs Brentford Predictions
Although meetings between the two clubs have been something of a rarity over the years, the proximity between the clubs means the rivalry exists and Brentford would dearly love to complete a league double over QPR. However their current form suggests they may struggle to do that. They have lost 5 of their last 6 including a really poor home defeat to struggling Charlton in a London derby last weekend. Given Mark Warburton failed to get a new contract despite leading the club into the play-offs last season, Dean Smith must be feeling the heat with the club languishing down in 17th place currently.
QPR are making slow progress under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink but recent wins over Derby and Birmingham in their last two home games and a run of just 2 defeats in 11 matches suggest some progress is being made. They probably have one eye on next season already with their current 11th place leaving them 9 points shy of the top six with only 10 games to go. It is very hard to see them bridging that gap over the remainder of the season.
They should land the 3 points here though. A lot has changed at both clubs since Brentford beat QPR at Griffin Park back in October not least both managers while the two clubs have also lost key players. QPR have only lost 2 of their last 15 games at Loftus Road and with Brentford shipping plenty of goals right now, they should get enough chances to win this game so backing QPR Draw No Bet at 4/6 really appeals here.
