      QPR vs Wolves Predictions

QPR won for the first time under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink last weekend with a convincing 3-0 win at Rotherham with David Hoilett, Matty Phillips and Sebastian Polter all scoring Second Half goals. It was a big result especially given the departure of top scorer Charlie Austin last week while Phillips is also said to have attracted offers in this window.

Wolves have also had to deal with the loss of their best forward after Benik Afobe departed for Bournemouth earlier in the month. They had been coping pretty well with Michał Zyro coming in from Poland and scoring a few goals and they had racked up 4 straight league wins but were on the wrong end of a 3-1 defeat last time out against Cardiff in the Black Country.

They remain 3 points better off than QPR but 8 points shy of the top six and both managers will be well aware that they are going to need to put a sequence of wins together if they are to have any chance of making the play-offs.

Draws won’t really help either club much so we should see two teams really looking for the win here and that is likely to mean an open game and a few goals. Both teams have scored in all of the last 3 matches at Loftus Road while that has been the case in 6 of the last 8 games involving QPR overall. Wolves have scored in all of their last 9 league matches so consider backing both teams to score here at 5/6.

Although there were encouraging signs last week, QPR are still a work in progress under their new boss and with Wolves going pretty well over the last month, they are capable of getting a result here so consider backing a 2-2 draw for big potential returns at 14/1.
