Rangers vs Dundee United Predictions
- Dundee United have won just one of their 14 Scottish Premiership away games this season
- Rangers’ last nine league and cup games have all featured at least three goals
- Dundee United have lost each of their last eight league trips to Rangers
Rangers should ease to comfortable win over struggling United
Celtic’s nine-point lead in the Scottish Premiership looks insurmountable, but Rangers have still looking ruthless in league matches and that is bad news for Dundee United, who head to Ibrox on Saturday.
The Arabs are bottom of the table and their away record suggests they could be in for a hiding, even thought there was no disgrace in the 2-1 loss they suffered at Rangers earlier in the season.
That was the eight successive occasion that they have left Ibrox pointless and while draws against Livingston and St Mirren arrested a seven-match winless run, it is a much more daunting proposition to be heading to the home of the Gers.
They have also not claimed an away success since the 1-0 win at St Johnstone on January 2, which was the only time they have tasted joy on the road this term.
We can expect Rangers to be ruthless as they have scored at least twice in all but two of their home league games this season.
Their last nine home games have been wins and event though they have a big gap to make up on Celtic, there have been few problems at Ibrox where they have dropped just four points in the entire campaign.
After a week’s break, this could be a change for them to cut loose so out prediction is that they can win the game, which could contain at least four goals.
While the bet could accommodate a surprise United strike, it seems more likely the goals will all come from the home team, so a 4-0 Rangers win correct-score bet is also advised.
