RB Leipzig vs Atalanta Predictions

Leipzig in high spirits

RB Leipzig finds themselves in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League (UEL) via a walkover and welcomes Atalanta to the Red Bull Arena, another side who finished third in the group stages of the Champions League. Leipzig boss, and Italian, Domenico Tedesco will be eager for his side to get a positive result in the first leg and he’ll be confident after his side demolished Borussia Dortmund 4-1 away from home at the weekend.

Atalanta are one of the favourites to win this competition and it’s understandable considering they are the only side to have progressed winning both of their round of 16 legs. Those games came against Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen, who actually sit above Leipzig in the German top-flight table and so ‘La Dea’ will be confident that they can be the ones to advance to the next stage of this competition.

Possible thriller in store

This has all the makings of an entertaining game in prospect. The hosts have one of the hottest properties in world football in Christopher Nkunku and we think Atalanta may have a hard time containing.
