      Draw

      Reason for tip

Real Betis have drawn six of their last ten games and there was very little to split these two teams in the first game so it may be worth siding with another stalemate, with extra-time and penalties a real possibility in this second leg.

      Draw 1-1

      Reason for tip

Six of Real Betis’ last eight games have gone under 2.5 goals and another low-scoring affair looks likely given the visitors’ struggles in front of goal as of late. A repeat of this pair’s 1-1 draw from the first leg is fancied.

      Real Betis vs Braga Predictions

      • Real Betis have only lost three of their last 18 European games
      • Braga have only lost two of their last 18 European games
      • Four of Real Betis’ last ten outings have finished 1-1

      Little to split two teams

It was impossible to split Real Betis and Braga in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final and that may prove to be the case once again in this second leg.

Betis have been struggling domestically and may have only won one of their last ten games, but they have drawn six of those and could be set for another.

Braga had more of the ball last week but failed to turn that into real domination, allowing six shots on target to their three. However they have been in much better form than their hosts as of late, winning three of their last five.

Goals have been somewhat hard to come by since their 4-0 win over Ferencvaros, with the Portuguese side netting just four goals in their four matches since then.

      Low-scoring affair likely

Braga have only lost two of their last 18 games in Europe but their struggles in front of goal mean that this may be a game in which both teams play not to lose rather than to win.

In what could be a cagey affair considering the stakes, it’s worth siding with the draw.

Six of Real Betis’ last eight games have gone under 2.5 goals and Braga have hardly been prolific as of late so a 1-1 correct score pick is fancied.
