Real Betis vs Levante Predictions

• Betis are on a run of just one defeat in seven home matches in all competitions
• Levante have lost five of their seven away games in La Liga this season

Betis back in form

After a run of three defeats in a row, Betis got back to winning ways against lowly Elche last weekend (3-0) before backing it up in the Europa League on Thursday night.

That victory of Elche took their impressive record against teams in the bottom eight places in La Liga to four wins and two draws from six matches, something they will be confident of building on against 20th placed Levante.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side, who are up in fifth, have netted nine times in their last four home fixtures, while four of their last five league matches have included at least three goals.

They are a strong side going forward, and it is hard to see them slipping up against a Levante outfit who are stranded at the foot of the table.

Levante In Trouble

Levante’s record from 14 La Liga matches this season reads drawn seven, lost seven, won none. Away from home, they have picked up just two points, falling to defeat on five occasions and conceding 14 goals.

They come into this one having lost their last four away league matches, including a 5-3 thumping at the hands of Sevilla and a 3-0 loss to Barcelona.

Indeed, three of those four matches have included three or more goals, while they are yet to keep a clean sheet on their travels.

This should be as comfortable a win as Real Betis are able to get all season. They are strong at home and they score plenty of goals, whereas Levante are weak and concede too many. I think Betis will win with three or more goals in the match and I predict they will land a 3-0 victory.
