Can Real get a sixth straight home win?

It has been a splendid start to the season for Real Betis, who sit top of Europa League Group C with three wins from three matches, including last week when they came from behind to beat Roma 2-1 in Italy.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side have also got a 100% record from five home matches in all competitions in 2022/23, the last two of which have seen both teams score.

Indeed, both teams have netted in six of their last eight outings in this competition, as well as four of their six clashes with Italian sides in European football.

Roma need a win

Roma are already six points behind Betis in Group C, with their defeat to the Spaniards last week coming off the back of a 3-0 victory over HJK and 2-1 loss away to Ludogorets.

Jose Mourinho’s side have in fact lost three of their last six away games in the Europa League, five of which have seen both teams score.

On top of that, they have not kept a clean sheet in their last five on the road in all competitions, suffering two defeats in the process as both teams have scored on each occasion.
